May 2022 saw a global first for gallery group Castle Fine Art when they launched Bob Dylan’s first ever limited edition triptych graphic.'Sunset, Monument Valley' formed a focal point within the curation of Retrospectrum; Dylan’s major museum retrospective that has so far toured Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Miami, to great critical acclaim. Originally painted in acrylics on canvas, the fiery scene is influenced by the real-life highway and rock features of Utah, a landscape featuring one of the most recognizable backdrops the world has to offer.

This exclusive, hand-signed limited edition artwork reimagines the large-scale original triptych in a silkscreen format, marking an exciting new direction in Dylan's impressive repertoire. Our specialist atelier team worked tirelessly to capture the vibrant tones and light effects of the original in full color through the silkscreen process. Each of the triptych panels was printed independently, incorporating 78 layers of pigmented and acrylic resin ink and a further three layers of brushstroke texture and UV varnish per panel to create a glossy effect.
