John “SohoJohnny” Pasquale: “Echoes of the Past, Whispers of the Future” 2024 Reviewed

John Pasquale lovingly referred to by his stage name “SohoJohnny”  had a stellar year in 2024 although I’m willing to be he humbly doesn’t notice it himself. His year in review is a snapshot of the world’s progress, challenges and triumphs. It is a way to reflect on the years achievements, celebrate its milestones, and assess the direction and impact for the future. It acts as a springboard to set intentions for the upcoming year.

As the owner of PEP Real Estate, SohoJohnny has the unique situation of owning 25 prestigious properties in the most sought after location in Manhattan, SOHO, hence the name SohoJohnny. The properties are exclusively offered for rent or as Pop-up locations for businesses, art galleries, studios, events, restaurants, hair salons, and nearly everything else you can think of. 2024 sent many different offers and intentions to PEP as well as many different and unique opportunities for business owners, celebrities and other interesting conglomerates. There are several properties left and several open opportunities.

SohoJohnny is also the President of a boutique record label based in New York City called Tribeca Records. This year has blessed the label with many new artists and more than a handful of new releases. Tribeca welcomes newest artists, 40 Flow (hip-hop), Jennifer Belle (Jezebel) (Country), Solomon King (rock/pop/country), The King Moore Unity Project (Put A Little Love in Your Heart) (Pop for Peace/rap), Shred ABG (hip-hop), Gina Zollman (Where I Begin, Heartstrings) (Country/ Pop), Irene Michaels (My Heart) (house, EDM), AniMazeX ft. DRMAGDN (Metal/EDM/Christmas), just to name a few. The veterans and loyal signees include film composer, singer/songwriter Randy Edelman ( Apres Covid, Everything Is Possible, The Live Album Around the World in 80 Minutes, Italian Star, Birds of Freedom, Waltzing on a High Wire, The Beast Inside soundtrack, and others) (pop/adult contemporary/ credibility), THE AMERICAN RELICS (Brooklyn, The Eyes of 1969, My Impala) (classic, nostalgic rock) just to name a few. This year Tribeca Records was nominated for a Josie Music Award. The Josie music Awards are the largest, most respected, most revered organization and association in the Independent music industry. The awards took place in Nashville TN at The Grand Ole Opry and included nominations for many of the Tribeca artists including Irene Michaels, THE AMERICAN RELICS, DRMAGDN, and Randy Edelman who performed at the ceremonies and was also the recipient of “The Legendary Songwriters Award.” SohoJohnny also has a publishing company which many of the artists are part of.

SohoJohnny has been invited to too many events to name, however most of these events are a big part of the entertainment industry. He has gone to the JMA in Nashville, Kick Boxing at MSG, various fashion events, the St. George Theater, the filming of Profiles with Mickey Burns (which he produced for a number of years), Legends of Vinyl (which he garnered a special award for and also helped produce this year), A Tribute to Clive Davis at Carnegie Hall and the after party, just to name a few.

On September 22, John spoke at “The Pause For World Peace” five hour concert at Times Square, the cornerstone of the world for the 40th Anniversary of the United Nations International Peace Day. The show was broadcasted as well as set on stage for the 330,000 onlookers that pass by everyday. He was joined in celebration by several of the Tribeca artists including The King Moore Unity Project, Irene Michaels, THE AMERICAN RELICS, and Randy Edelman.

As one of the top producers in the entertainment industry SohoJohnny’s foundation Let Me Help, Inc. will be planning at least two events. One for the veterans next fall and the other on June 6, 2025 at Lincoln Center which will feature Randy Edelman performing. Let Me Help, Inc was founded by SohoJohnny after the passing of his mom from Covid. Since then John and the foundation have produced scores of celebrity benefits which have included artists such as Joey Belladonna, Kenny Aronoff, Sir Patrick Stewart, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Julian Lennon, Jeff Goldblum, Rick Wakeman, Leland Sklar, Tony Orlando, Kim Sledge, Howard Bloom, Alex Skolnick, and a barrage of others.

While SohoJohnny’s series “Soho At Night” it’s still in the making he has high hopes of seeing it released in 2025. On behalf of the show, John has interviewed celebrities including, Tony Orlando, Tony Moore, Bill Bradley, Tiffany, Randy Edelman, France Joli, King Moore, Lou Gramm, David Amram, Richie Cannata, Leon, Warren Haynes, Rick Wakeman, and a marathon of others.

SohoJohnny is currently celebrating the film release of “The Beast Inside” as executive producer and as a supporting character in the movie. The film was released December 3 on Amazon Prime, Roku, Xbox, Apple TV, DIRECTV, Dish, and many other platforms. The movie was directed by Jim Towns and stars Sadie Katz, Vernon Wells and Laureen Landon. SohoJohnny plays the role of a transient motel manager Tom. The film score was written and performed by Randy Edelman.

SohoJohnny has much to look forward to in the new year as a talent, a producer and record label owner. Each year his name becomes a larger and more recognizable figure in the world of entertainment. He is already set for a role in several up and coming movies, and will have produced an event in Lincoln Center that will put the name of Let Me Help, Inc and John Pasquale among the footlights of the industry forever.
