SohoJohnny Speaks About Earth Day & Pep Real Estate Live @ Times Square
Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 that demonstrates support for the environment. It includes more than 1 billion people in more than 193 countries and a wide range of events coordinated globally through earthday.org. This year PEP Real Estate founder and owner John “SohoJohnny” Pasquale spoke live on the Times Square stage about how Earth Day collaborates with real estate in helping to keep the Earth sustainable.
John spoke about recycling in the West Village of Manhattan which was written about in the New York Times. This topic was close to his heart as PEP Real Estate does own property in the West Village. Recycling is not only socially responsible, but a lore in New York City. The main goal of recycling is to conserve resources, reduce waste, and protect the environment by reducing the need for new rule, materials and energy. Economically, it also creates jobs and generates tax revenue.
SohoJohnny is also the owner of Tribeca Records, Let Me Help, Inc (a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping others) and a production company that is in post production for a late night variety show called “Soho At Night.”
The Earth Day festivities were produced by Rev. Paul Sladkus, who also produced International Peace Day’s Pause the World for Peace last year which also took place at Times Square. SohoJohnny was also a featured speaker for that event as well.
